Guideline for doing Business with
Customers inside & outside of EU Countries
You are a private Person outside of the EU You are a private person outside ot the EU -
therefore the customs regulations of Your home county are applicable. Some products like Chemicals, Poisons, Animals,
etc. may be subject of more strict legislation in Your country compared with the
legislation of the country of the seller. Please make inquiries at Your
responsible customs office. Shipped : You
may receive the goods (in usual quantities, since You are a private person)
without paying VAT. There will be additional charges for the forwarder,
beginning at approximately EUR 26,- (additional to the freight charges). Shipped : You
will receive an Invoice without V.A.T. When importing the goods in Your home
country , You will have to pay Your local V.A.T. and possibly some other
import duties. You may ask Your local customs office about these dutys. You are a
private Person within the EU You are a

Duty
The customs regulations of Your
home country are applicable. There may be duties and charges when importing
goods in Your home county. Please understand that we can not give any
informations about Your local customs regulation, since we can not know all
regulations worldwide.
Value Added Tax (VAT)
Pick Up : You may pick up the
goods in usual quantities (since You are a private person) with a special
form, called "U34" and a copy of Your passport. If You send us the stamped
"U34" we can refund the VAT to You. The stamp You will receive at the
customs office when leaving Austria.
additional Charges
There may be additional charges
like duties, Value Added Taxes and more. Please make inquieries on Your
local customs office about that.
Invoice
Pick Up : You will receive an
Invoice with V.A.T. and the "U34" Form. If You send us the correctly stamped
"U34", the V.A.T. will be refunded.
Payment
If You pickup the goods You
usually pay in cash - and thats it. If You send us the correctly stamped
"U34", the V.A.T. will be refunded.
If the goods will be sent, You usually pay in advance through Your
bank-account, or You pay by Credit Card.
Rotek only will accept Credit Card payments via
PAYPAL if agreed in advance.
please do not send us any Credit-Card details for security reasons.
For payments to a foreign country You usually make a "SWIFT" transfer. To
send money to a foreign account via "SWIFT" You will need at least : Account
Number , SWIFT Adress, Receivers Name, Amount, Currency und
Reason of Payment.

Please only remit payments with Customercode,
Invoicenumber, Ordernumber or other information You will receive from our
sales or accounting department - otherwise we can not identify Your payment.
If You remit payments to our account, please make sure that the total amount
will reach our account. That means all bank charges have to be covered by
You. You have to state "all charges to be paid by the sender" on Your
remittance.
